Lafite Rothschild wisselt van wacht
Baron Eric de Rothschild en Eric Salin van Domaines Baron de Rothschild (Lafite) hebben bekend gemaakt dat technisch en oenologisch directeur Charles Chevalier van af 1 januari de nieuwe post van senior advisor zal vervullen. Chevallier werkt al sinds 1982 bij DBR. ‘In this new role, he will be in charge of relations with private and public institutions, universities and educational centres, acting as an Ambassador for our wines worldwide. In this way, he will support the Group with his extensive technical experience and his talents as a communicator.’
Chevallier begon bij Chateau Rieussec en werd later verantwoordelijk voor alle Bordeaux huizen van DBR inclusief Lafite. Die rol wordt nu overgenomen door wijnmaker Eric Kohler, hij wordt verantwoordelijk voor Lafite, Duhart-Millon, l’Evangile en Rieussec. Kohler is dins 1992 bij DBR ‘He subsequently took charge of Domaine d’Aussières in Languedoc and our properties in Argentina, Chile and China, missions that he has carried out with energy and success.’
