Voor wijnliefhebbers is het mogelijk om binnenkort Barolo’s te proeven op het terroir van de streek. Van 10 oktober tot 14 november 2026 vinden de door Strada del Barolo sbegeleide proeverijen plaats in de schitterende ambiance van het Albeisa-consortium, gelegen in het historische centrum van Alba: een reis langs terroirs, oogstjaren en cru’s voor een authentieke beleving in het hart van de Langhe.

The original Wine Tasting Experience® organized by Strada del Barolo e grandi vini di Langa returns to the heart of Alba. The event features a completely renewed program of 12 appointments dedicated to the “King of Wines,” hosted in the beautifully equipped tasting room of the Albeisa Consortium, piazza Vittorio Veneto 7, 12051 Alba (CN).

A deep dive into the winemaking excellence of the Langhe will be the common thread of this new program, which is specifically designed for an international, young audience eager to approach the world of wine in an original way. The events will take place during the weeks when the region experiences one of its peak tourist seasons, driven by the Alba White Truffle season, offering visitors an additional opportunity to complete their Langhe experience with a dedicated Barolo tasting journey.

From October 10th to November 14th, 2026, for six consecutive Saturdays, the following sessions will alternate, offered in two time slots: at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM:

Barolo Essentials: A guided tasting of three wines: a pure Nebbiolo, a classic Barolo, and a Barolo Cru. An experience that will guide you in recognizing nuances, characteristics, and evolution through a sensory narrative.
Barolo Docg Vertical Tasting: an immersive tasting that offers the opportunity to explore the complexity and evolution of this prestigious wine.
Blind Tasting of 3 Barolo Docg 2022 Crus: an experiential tasting of three different Barolo Docg labels to challenge participants’ sensory skills and expertise in identifying the unique characteristics of each cru.

The Wine Tasting Experience® will be conducted by the same speaker in both Italian and English, and each tasting session lasts approximately one hour.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at € 36.00 per person. They include educational materials (available in Italian and English).

The Wine Tasting Experience® is an invitation to discover Barolo through the senses. Each tasting is a guided journey across terroirs, vintages, and crus, designed to deepen wine knowledge and deliver an authentic experience in the heart of the Langhe.
